game is Unity 3D Software. But in this game, it is used 2D graphic that is
simple and attractive, make this game joyful.
Game Scenario
Inspirated from the Indonesian’s culture in
greeting August 17th Independence Day every year. Every sub-games in this game
are the contest that usually held in real life to welcome Independence Day. For
the example, balap karung, perang bantal, tarik tambang, balap bakiak, makan
kerupuk, panjat pinang, and so many others.
With the main character a young boy which taking
every variative challenge, until reach a victory and be a champion
Game Character
The main character is a young boy which have a
Indonesian’s flag bond in his head. That boy will follow every contest /
sub-game in every difficulty. And finish it until the end with a highest score
he could get.
Game Play
This game have Arcade genre. Consist of many
sub-games divided into 4 difficulty, Easy, Medium, Hard, and Insane in startup
user interface we started this game. Then, in every difficulty consist of 4
sub-game that could be played. Score in this game divided into 6 which are S,
A, B, C, D, and E. Looking for a highest score become an obligation in this
game. Because score that we got in every sub-game will determine the next level
that will be opened. We cannot continue to the next level if our score that we
got is low.
Studio Maker
Begin from a
research group in university, and now become a game studio that full of
achievment. A few Gajah Mada University Computer Science study program colleger
make a startup with brand “Creacle Studio Game”. Creacle itself, comes from
words Creative Circle. This Studio born on October 2011. This game studio that
centered in Yogyakarta have joined a few contests which have been held, on of
them is Gemastik.
This Game Studio those have 8 to 10 people for
this time, focusing on mobile gaming. Gathot Fajar told
that it can be seen from the amount of mobile user, Indonesia still being a
consumtive market share. So, chance in mobile
segment could be said is bigger than desktop and web market. But
still, there are so many challenges in Indonesia’s market mobile, those which
made Creacle Studio interested for focusing in mobile segment.
Until now, Creacle Studio have produced so many
games, there are Green Guard, Pandawa Series (Arjuna Sang Pemanah,
Bimsa Sang Penakluk, Nakula Sadewa in the Labyrinth), Save Komo, Virtual Pet,
Mad Fish dan Alay the Kite Runner. From those, a few could be
direct downloaded from Nokia Ovistore. One
interesting thing is few of those games developed by them lift up Indonesian’s
history, just like Pandawa series. Beside
that, there are games those teach us to care about environment just like Green
Guard and Save Komo.

This game is published in two mobile platform
store, Google Play Store (Android) and Windows Phone Store (Windows Phone).
Positive Impact
Positive impact that we learn after playing this
game is we can appreciate and understand deeper Indonesian’s culture. We could
explore more contest and celebration that always held every August 17th
to welcome Indonesia’s Independence Day. With so many sub-game inspirated from
traditional game which is Indonesian’s culture also. So, we will not easy to
forget traditional game although the year becomes more sophisticated. Indirectly,
with playing this game, we have protected and conserved Indonesian’s
traditional game to be still exist and not being extinct by the modern times.
Negative Impact
The negative impact when we play this game is
making someone determine to play traditional game in a gadget. Without a desire
to do it in a real life. They think that they have conserved traditional game
with playing it on gadget, without an action in everyday life.
Conclusion
This “Kompilasi Game 17an” game is educative. It
thought and told us what are the traditional game those have been Indonesian’s
culture to celebrate Indonesian’s Independence Day every August 17th.
So, we could remember and conserve those traditional games. But, we cannot just
play it only in a gadget. We also have to play it in a real life. Outside that
aspect, this game has being an approvement that Indonesia could grow and
compete in gaming world, especially mobile gaming. This thing have been a
startup line for Indonesia to appear in global world, compete with others
developers in different country, and show it to the International world that
Indonesia could.
Suggestion for The Game
Suggestion
for the game is realted to the difficulty. When we play this game, the opened
difficulty that we could play are Easy and Medium. For Hard and Insane
difficulty cannot be played because we have to wait for the updates from the
game developer. That thing make gamers dissappointed, waiting for the updates
without a clear date when the updates released. And for the Ads-Banner that is
really disturbing when we turned on our cellular data.
Related
to the difficulty again, sub-game divided into 4 different difficulty actually
is not really affecting. Because, there are sub-games in Easy difficullty those
have same hardship as the Normal or Hard difficulty. Make those sub-games
looked like ungroup and do not fit to the difficulty class.
Suggestion for Gamers
For the players of this games, expected not too
addicted. Because, this game caused ‘greget’ to raise the highest score in
every sub-game. So, that thing which make gamers try again and again. Watch for
the playing time, and don’t play this game too long. Beside make our eyes
troubled, it could make our socialization to other people reduced.
